  1. What is your telephone number?
    While we do not provide telephone support, we provide exceptional support via email extended hours, 7 days a week. We are very proud of the quality of support that we provide. We answer your emails promptly and go out of our way to ensure that we give you a complete answer. If you are sceptical, give us a test.
  2. How long do I have to sign up for?
    Unless specificied, our domain hosting accounts generally have no minimum commitments. You will be invoiced monthly and can cancel hosting whenever you like without needing to give us advance notice. Simply email us and we will cancel the account the same day.
  3. Can I upgrade my domain hosting account if my needs change?
    It is possible to upgrade within the same class hosting account, and we are happy to organise this for you at no charge, within 24 hours of your request. You will experience no down time or service interruption. Unfortunately it is not possible to upgrade to from one class of hosting account to another (e.g. from any Budget account to a Business account). However as we set up new accounts promptly, you could change your account class simply by setting up a new account and cancelling your old one.
  4. I am concerned about giving you my credit card details. Are there any other payment options?
    When you apply for hosting online, your credit card details are encrypted and sent securely to the bank in realtime. The bank then notifies us that your payment has been approved and we do not store your credit card details. However if security is still a concern or you do not have a credit card, we do accept cheque, money order or direct bank deposit for our hosting account payments

  5. If I apply now, when will my account be up and running?
    We are generally able to have most accounts set up within 6 hours. However for your account to work properly, the domain name needs to be pointed to our servers. As this is done by the registrar, the time varies but is usually 24-48 hours. We therefore recommend applying for hosting at least 3 days in advance of the date that you will require your account by (allow extra time if you intend to pay by cheque, money order or direct bank deposit).
  6. I need some extra software/ modules/ components installed. Is this possible?
    In many cases you will be able to install scripts on your hosting account without any problems. However occassionally some scripts require special modules to be installed on the server, or superuser access. Unfortunately we are unable to install special modules on our servers or grant superuser access.
  7. Do you have any email only plans?
    While we do not have any 'email only' plans, our Budget class hosting accounts are extremely cost effective allowing you to make full use of your domain name, or utilise it only for email without inconvenience or extra charge.
  8. Do you support Microsoft Access Databases?
    Our servers support MySQL (selected plans only) however they do not support Microsoft Access. If you require Microsoft Access you will need a Windows NT server.

  9. Do you use Unix or NT servers?
    All of our servers are Unix servers. We do not utilise NT servers.
  10. Can you offer any bulk discounts?
    We offer several differrent reseller programs, offering various discounts depending on the volume of accounts resold and your intended involvement. Please refer to our reseller program outline for details.
